Tucked away in the woods among the vineyards, there's a place where "I do" has a different scent: here, every corner becomes the perfect backdrop for your most important day, in a sequence of ever-changing settings that never feels "off a catalogue".
The rite that unites you, with full legal standing: Romito is a registered "casa comunale" by resolution of the Municipality of Casteggio, so the officiant can perform the ceremony directly here, with a professional available on request. The garden dresses up for the occasion — seating facing the greenery, a grass carpet in place of the aisle. Alternatively, the ceremony can be purely symbolic, led by a professional officiant for those who want a freer form, with no civil or religious ties. And for the "I do," the garden offers three different settings to choose from: it's up to you to find the one that feels most like you.
The first toast among guests usually takes place in the Secret Garden, cool and bucolic, ideal for hosting the aperitivo in the shaded areas. Alternatively, the Veranda or the Piazzetta delle Rose, already set with the "Atmosphere Package": around twenty lanterns, hammocks, cushions, the well, benches under the trees. It's the moment the garden warms toward sunset and the party, unhurried, begins to take shape.
Under the portico or in the garden, dinner is set with long or round tables depending on the number of guests, and tailor-made catering chosen from Emilia's selected suppliers. As evening falls, the Night Pack lights up lanterns, spotlights among the trees and along the entrance path, so the table glows softly as the evening unfolds.
In the cold season, or for those seeking a more intimate atmosphere, dinner moves indoors: the Fireplace Hall, with its baby grand piano, or the Convent Cellar for a more intimate moment — always with the same tailor-made catering chosen from Emilia's selected suppliers.
A symbolic moment that gathers all the guests around the couple: the cake, often multi-tiered and decorated with fresh flowers, is brought into the garden as evening falls, among lit lanterns and — if desired — a cold-spark fountain display accompanying the first cut together.
When the sun goes down, Romito truly comes alive: the grounds turn into a dance floor, the music takes over, and the cake cutting is often paired with a scenic touch, between cold-spark fountains and lights among the trees. With the option of Extra Time past midnight, so the party doesn't have to end too soon.
